Concept Kart - A Cautionary Tale

I'm writing this review to save others from the nightmare I've been through with Concept Kart.

I ordered a DAC from them. What arrived was a sealed package containing... just the cover. No DAC inside.

Here's what I did right:

Noticed the issue immediately upon opening

Took timestamped photos

Recorded a video of the contents

Reported it to them within minutes

I did everything a reasonable customer could possibly do after discovering a missing item.

Their response? "You should have filmed it from before you opened the package."

Let that sink in.

Their warehouse made a mistake. They failed to pack my order correctly. And their solution is to tell me I should have anticipated their error and had a camera rolling before I even touched the box.

This expectation is nowhere on their website. Not during purchase. Not during checkout. Not in any confirmation email. You're just supposed to magically know their policy is "guilty until proven innocent."

When I pushed back, they dropped this gem: "Once a package has been opened, there is no reliable way to confirm what was originally inside."

Really? What about:

Warehouse dispatch records?

Packing logs?

Shipment weight checks?

These systems exist for exactly this scenario. My item was either on their packing list or it wasn't. The answer sits entirely in THEIR internal data. But they never mentioned checking any of it. Not once.

Instead, the entire burden of THEIR fulfillment error was placed on ME.

So here's my warning to anyone considering ordering from Concept Kart:

Film yourself opening every package. From the moment the tape is intact. Don't stop recording until you've inspected every item. Because if their warehouse forgets to pack your order, the first question won't be "let us check our systems" – it'll be "where's your video?"

Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere that actually stands behind their shipping process. Somewhere that doesn't expect customers to be unboxing videographers just to get what they paid for.

I'm out the cost of a DAC and the hours of my life I'll never get back fighting with their "customer service."

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
