Paid for GST registration—no service, misleading updates, and refunds only after a chargeback
I opted for IndiaFilings for GST registration and paid on April 7, 2026. From the beginning, the service never actually started. Days passed with no onboarding, no document requests, and no real progress. What made it worse was that the status updates in the application suggested movement, but in reality there was no work done and no communication shared.
Reaching customer support was a struggle. Calls often went unanswered, emails didn’t receive responses, and chat support didn’t help. My account manager (Diwakar) and the MCA contact (Revathi Arutselvan) were also unreachable despite repeated follow-ups. I kept getting verbal promises that things would begin “immediately,” but nothing followed.
Refund was handled unprofessionally too. Initially, the company closed my refund request even though I had not received the money. Later, I was told directly that I needed to remove my Trustpilot review to get the refund processed. I refused, and I proceeded by raising a chargeback through my bank.
Update (June 9): I did finally receive the refund after two months, but only after the chargeback. Without that, I’m certain the refund would not have happened.
Overall, this was a complete lack of service despite upfront payment, misleading updates, and poor accountability. I strongly recommend others think twice before paying in advance to avoid ending up in the same situation.
Note: Now I’m on a mission to expose IndiFillings and I'm posting this review on TrustGate and all possible review platforms, along with sharing the experience on social media, to ensure others don’t get misled.
