frustrating and exhausting shopping experience
I have never experienced such a frustrating and exhausting shopping experience in my life.
I ordered merchandise from one of my favorite rock bands as a gift for a close friend. Instead of receiving what I paid for, The Souled Store sent me a single sock (not even a pair) and a random toddler-sized t-shirt instead of the adult-sized merchandise I had ordered.
The real nightmare began when I tried to return the incorrect items.
From May 21, 2026, to June 16, 2026, I was practically forced to stay at home waiting for their pickup partner. Their tracking system provides no proper pickup dates or time slots, making it impossible to plan your day. Every single day, I contacted customer support, and every single day I was told, "The pickup will happen today." Day after day, that promise turned out to be false.
After nearly a month of constant follow-ups, multiple phone calls, and dealing with rude and unhelpful representatives, they finally arranged the pickup, as if they were doing me a favor for correcting their own mistake.
What is even more disappointing is that after receiving the wrong products back, they are now refusing to process my refund, hiding behind internal policies despite the fact that the entire issue was caused by their own fulfillment errors.
The products I received were completely different from what I ordered. I lost weeks of my time, countless hours of follow-up, and a great deal of patience trying to resolve a problem that should never have existed in the first place.
As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes can happen. What defines a company is how it handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, my experience with The Souled Store showed a complete lack of accountability, poor customer service, and an unwillingness to do what is right for the customer.
I am not just disappointed, I am genuinely shocked by how poorly this situation was handled. I would strongly advise customers to think carefully before ordering, especially if they expect reliable after sales support or hassle free returns.
I am still waiting for accountability and a fair resolution.
